What is UPSIDE?

UPSIDE is an all-inclusive, community-driven living experience located in Business Bay in Dubai, that invites people to enjoy a hassle-free lifestyle through access to top notch facilities and a thriving community all under one roof.

Who is part of UPSIDE community?

What is the UPSIDE Membership?

It’s the perfect choice for those that already have a place to live but want to be part of the UPSIDE community. The Membership gives access to all the facilities in the building, as well as access to UPSIDE events. Click here for more info.

How do I become an UPSIDER?

Fill in your details here, and one of our team members will hit you up to schedule a tour and interview. After confirming your documents, you can move in within a week.

Where is UPSIDE located and what's the surrounding area like?

UPSIDE is located in Business Bay, the contemporary business district of Dubai, minutes away from Burj Khalifa, Dubai Canal, the Financial District and Dubai`s creative hub, D3.
Dine on rooftops of skyscrapers or explore the latest in fashion and the creative scene in all is just a short ride away.

Is parking available?

We have parking for both our Residents and our guests. Parking on P1+P2 is reserved for Residents only. Visitors to UPSIDE should park on the GF. Parking is done as per availability.

How do I reach UPSIDE`s location if I do not have a car?

It’s easy. You can take the bus or a taxi. The nearest bus stop is just 15mins walk from UPSIDE - Business Bay 2 for F14 and F19A bus lines.

Can I use the space for a video or photo shoot?

Filming or photography of others and with professional equipment, in the common areas (e.g., pool, gym, lounges, hallways, etc) is generally prohibited.

Special permission may be granted to Residents and Members who obtain a prior approval from the Community Manager and a written consent of anyone who is filmed or photographed.

Are there any accessibility features available for Residents with special needs or people of determination?

Yes, we have 6 accessible rooms bookable upon availability.

Are extra beds available?

The maximum occupancy for all our rooms is 2 people and extra beds are not available.

Are there any baby cribs?

Yes, subject to availability.

When can I move-in and move-out?

The move-in and move-out can be done from Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, with prior appointment with the Community Team.

What is the policy for storing luggage before check-in or after check-out?

We have self-service lockers available for cabin luggage and backpacks.

Is there a concierge service available to help with recommendations, reservations, or other needs?

Our team will be always available to help you and to guide you to the best places in Dubai.

Do you offer airport transportation?

We can assist to arrange for airport pickup, subject to a fee, to be settled directly with the driver.

Are there smoking and non-smoking rooms available?

All UPSIDE apartments are strictly non-smoking. You may smoke on the balcony of your room only, if applicable.

How can I cancel or modify my booking?

You can review, cancel, or modify your booking by accessing “My bookings” in the mobile app. You can also reach out to the team on email, call or WhatsApp within the cancellation deadline of your booking.

How flexible is the annual rent payment?

We•re all about flexibility and offer either monthly, quarterly, or annual payment plans.

What payment methods are accepted?

Debit Card, Credit Card, Bank Transfer, Postdated Cheques and UAE currency. We•re flexible, remember?

Can I charge my consumption to my room?

All payments should be settled upon consumption at the outlet.

Are all bills included in my stay?

Yes, this is one of our UPSIDES. Your rent covers electricity, water, chiller, TV & internet subscription, bi-monthly housekeeping service, access to community events, 24/7 security, 3rd floor facilities.

Do I need to pay a security deposit or other fees when moving in?

Yes, security deposit applies.

Can I buy a unit at UPSIDE?

How often does my flat get cleaned?

The cleaning service will depend on the contract, our standard service is once a week.

Can I request additional housekeeping services?

Yeah, easily bookable through our APP, using our exclusive service partner.

Can I change my housekeeping cleaning days?

The cleaning days for housekeeping services are fixed and cannot be changed.

What is included in the cleaning?

Vacuuming of the floor, light dusting of furniture and fixtures, disinfection of high-touch surfaces, emptying of the rubbish bins, cleaning of the balcony, change of UPSIDE provided linen, refill of complimentary bathroom amenities, and some weight off your shoulders.

Can I bring my own beddings and pillows?

Yes, however, we are not responsible for the cleaning of these items or bed arrangement with your personal beddings.

Additionally, please be aware that only UPSIDE provided linen will be removed from the room for cleaning purposes, but not for storage.

What documents are necessary for the tenancy agreement?

Just the basics, passport or EID, credit card, cheques.

I am new to Dubai, and I don't have an EID/Bank Account, can I still stay at UPSIDE?

Yes, we offer a renewable short-term contract using your Passport and the rent can be settled using credit card, debit card or UAE currency.

Can I bring my own furniture?

Our rooms are fully furnished and equipped. You may bring additional personal furniture, as long as the installation of such furniture does not require any drilling or removal of provided furniture and you have received advanced approval from our Team.

Can I bring my pet?

Residents staying with us for a minimum of 6 months may bring their pet. You can find our detailed Pet Policy here.

Can I store my bicycle?

Yes, in the dedicated bicycle parking only.

Can I receive deliveries?

Yes, parcels and grocery delivery will be available at your doorstep and any food items delivery can be received in the dedicated area in Basement 1(B1).

What are the amenities in my room?

All our rooms are fully equipped with the following items: SMEG kitchen appliances, glassware, cookware, chinaware, gas stove, TV and bathroom amenities.

What are the facilities I have access to in the building?

Coworking Space, Swimming Pool & Deck, Gym, Outdoor Garden, Running Track, Sports Court, Games Room, Social kitchen, Charlie Lane Café and Deli.

Can my friends visit?

Yes, friends can visit you in the room after registering at the reception with a valid Passport or EID. Access to the 3rd floor can be purchased at the reception as a daily pass. For more information here.

Do you have a shuttle bus available?

Yes, our complimentary shuttle bus is exclusively reserved for UPSIDERS, upon availability. The bus leaves every hour from 6AM to 8AM and from 6PM to 8PM. The route is UPSIDE > Business Bay Metro Station > Dubai Mall Metro Station > Dubai Design District > DIFC > UPSIDE.

Can I use the coworking space at UPSIDE if I am not a Resident?

Can I print or scan documents in the building?

Yes, we have a printing room available on the 3rd floor.

Can I have a trial period to test out the space before committing to a Membership?

Yes, our daily passes are available for those who want to try the experience.

Is there a limit to the number of hours I can use the coworking space per day or per week?

There is no limit and our coworking space is available 24h for Residents.

Can I bring guests or clients into the coworking space, and if so, are there any restrictions or fees for doing so?

Visitors to the coworking space should purchase the daily pass at the reception, or alternatively use the spaces in the Ground Floor.

Can Members bring external food items to the coworking space?

We offer a great selection of food and beverage options at Charlie Lane Café & Deli, and external food items are not allowed in the coworking space, but you can use the Social Kitchen for that.

Can I bring my pet in the coworking space?

Pets are allowed only in the outdoor designated are, subject to the pet policy here.
